Marketing / Administrative Intern
San Gabriel Mission Playhouse
On an occasional basis we need Interns for to assist with theater marketing activities. Primary duties will include working on the continuing development of the marketing program for the Playhouse.
Projects include assisting the Marketing Coordinator with event brochures, website maintenance and updates, mailing list development and servicing, audience survey development, venue and event publicity, and other activities as needed. Work includes research for individual event publicity materials, copying, filing, data entry, and other organizational tasks as needed.
Seeking someone interested in learning the nuts and bolts of performing arts marketing. Strong communications skills, organizational ability, flexibility, patience, good sense of humor, and an interest in the performing arts are all useful qualities and skills. General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and internet research, is a plus. Dependability is important. Qualified candidate will be a college student or recent graduate with a major in English, Communications, Marketing, or Theater Arts. 10+ hours a week with flexible scheduling.
