Resurrección Mexican Folk de Rafael Valpuesta presents 100 Años De Inspiración: Tributo a Amalia Hernández, 100 Years of Inspiration: A Tribute to Amalia Hernández Saturday evening, July 15th at 7:30pm.

100 Años De Inspiración is a tribute to the late Amalia Hernandez, Founder and Director of the Ballet Folklorico de Mexico. Resurrección Mexican Folk has been inspired by her work and artistry for the past two decades. This year marks Mrs. Hernandez’s 100th anniversary and with this concert, they celebrate her lifetime of achievements alongside her daughter, a folklórico legend herself, and a dear friend of Resurrección Mexican Folk, Ms. Amalia Viviana Basanta Hernandez. Ms. Basanta has blessed Resurrección Mexican Folk with her support, and with her mentorship they have gained invaluable experiences that have made their company part of her extended family, and her a part of theirs.  They are honored to share her legacy. ¡Que Viva Amalia Hernandez hoy y siempre!
