Poetry at the Playhouse- Laureates on Stage (Free Event)

Celebrate National Poetry Month with us as Los Angeles Poet Laureate Luis Rodriguez takes to the stage of the beautiful historic Mission Playhouse, originally built in 1927 by the California Poet Laureate of the day, John Steven McGroarty.

Mr. Rodriguez and fellow LA Poet Caribbean Fragoza will be offering a workshop and joined by Kenji Liu as the three read from their collected works.
