Hainam Association of Southern California presents Hainam Traditional Folk Dance

The Hainam Association of Southern California will be hosting a variety show at the Playhouse presenting the Hainan Middle School Art Troupe from Hainan, China. The purpose of the event is to “set up a bridge of cultural exchange between China and America and to promote the culture of Hainan Island.”

Established in 1923, Hainan Middle School is made up of over 5,600 students with 600 of them enrolled in their Art Troupe. The 90 minute program will feature music, dance, and song.
