We liked it so much we brought it back! Jornada 2016 delighted crowds with a colorful celebration of dance and music from Spain, India, Ireland and Mexico. Join us again for a joyful evening tracing the development and influence of Flamenco, with musicians and dancers hailing from around the globe.

Jornada is the creation of Clarita Corona, artistic director of Arte Flamenco Dance Theatre. In this one-night special, Arte Flamenco Dance Theatre brings Spanish dance from Andalucia and will be joined by BollyPop, presenting Kalbelia folk dance (North West India), Resurrección Mexican Folk de Rafael Valpuesta (Yucatan, Mexico) and Firqat Fan Al-Maghrib (North Africa). Vibrant costumes, vivid colors, the thrilling sounds of live music and the infectious energy of passionate dancers make this celebration of unity through dance a night not to be missed!

Come early and visit our festive Mercado (market) at Playhouse Plaza (5:30pm-9:30pm)! With Mother’s Day just around the corner, it’s the perfect place to a pick out a unique gift from one of our artisanal vendors. Bring the family, and while you’re here, stay a while, soak up the atmosphere, catch a free live performance on our outdoor stage featuring Ballet Folklorico Sol de Fuego and all female stringed mariachi ensemble, Las Colibri  and enjoy some freshly cooked delights from visiting food trucks and local restaurants.

Tickets to Jornada start at $30 (discounted tickets available for youth 18 and under, students, and seniors).Tickets may be subject to additional fees and charges. Cash is the only form of payment accepted at the Playhouse Box Office.
