Jornada: A Global Dance Journey

The Mission Playhouse and Arte Flamenco Dance Theatre present Jornada: A Global Dance Journey Sunday evening, April 29th at 7:30pm.

Now in its third year, the multi-cultural dance show created especially for the Playhouse continues its unstoppable journey in a riot of color and positive energy as it traces the roots, growth and influence of Flamenco in the global culture of dance.

This year, Arte Flamenco Dance Theatre and Artistic Director Clarita Corona join forces with more wonderful dancers and musicians from around the world (Khukh Tenger ‘Blue Sky’ Mongolian Dance, Desert Fire Indian Dance, and Baran Persian Dance with the Rasam Music Ensemble) to bring this impassioned celebration of dance and diversity to the stage.

Jornada 2018 brings together dancers, choreographers and live musicians as they draw on lively Indian, Persian, Mongolian, and Spanish traditions to create this unique celebration of life.

If you prefer to buy tickets in person, come to the Playhouse Box Office Tuesdays or Thursdays from 12:00pm-5:00pm. Cash, MasterCard, and Visa are the forms of payment accepted at the Playhouse Box Office.

As per CADPH; effective December 15, 2021 all indoor events with potential audience sizes greater than 1000 patrons will require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status or a negative Covid-19 test. Testing for such events is required to be conducted within one (1) day for rapid antigen tests, or within two (2) days for PCR tests prior to entry into the facility or venue.

Please note; self-attestation may not be used to verify status as fully vaccinated or as proof of negative test result. Face masks must also be worn indoors at all times during the event regardless of vaccination status.
