The Mission Playhouse and Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre present Ramona After Dark, Friday evening, September 7th at 9:00pm 

Join us for opening night of Ramona After Dark, choreographer Heidi Duckler’s new site-specific work for the Playhouse! Ramona After Dark is based on the American novel Ramona written by Helen Hunt Jackson in 1884. Set in Southern California after the Mexican-American War, it illustrates the racial discrimination and hardship of a mixed-race Scots-Native American orphan girl born in San Gabriel. 

Indulge in this late night performance with an open bar, live music by Chris Garcia and Heidi Duckler Dance’s core company dancers as they transform the beautiful architecture of the Mission Playhouse. 

**Please Note** We recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you’ll be following the dancers as they move throughout our theater and scenic grounds.

Get your tickets early as spots are limited! Ticket prices start at $50 ($25 for students/seniors 60+, $15 for youth 13 & under).
