Summer in San Gabriel Series: Free Outdoor Concert with Phat Cat Swinger!

Join us at beautiful Playhouse Plaza for a free outdoor summer concert featuring Phat Cat Swinger, Thursday evening July 21st at 7:00pm!

In 2002, founding members Marco Palos & Will Pattinson teamed up to create and refine a sound that had gone missing from the airwaves. Booming toms, jumpin’ rhythms and a powerful horn section blended with the sound of a new crooner were all the perfect ingredients for this creation. It became known as, “Phat Cat Swinger,” a West Coast “little-big” band that specializes in high-energy music with a vintage touch.

They’ve been featured in music videos with Christina Aguilera, The Jonas Brothers, and Snow Patrol. They perform at the Happiest Place on Earth and we are so excited to welcome them to the Playhouse.

Parking is free. We provide fold up chairs (first come, first served). You can bring your own chair if you’d like.

Bring your appetite! Delicious Mexican food will be available for purchase from San Gabriel’s own Chanos.
