Accessible Parking and Seating
Wheelchair and handicapped seating locations are available on the main level of the Playhouse. Assistive Listening Devices are also available upon request. Please contact an usher upon arrival of the performance for assistance.
The San Gabriel Mission Playhouse is owned by the City of San Gabriel and as such is designated as a smoke free facility. Smoking is prohibited inside the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse.
As a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, patrons who are not seated when the performance begins will be asked to wait in the standing area. Latecomers will be seated by an usher at appropriate times during the performance.
Photography and Video
Photography and video may be prohibited. Check event listing for details. Please set your cell phone and other electronic equipment to silent prior to the performance.

Throughout the year, the historic San Gabriel Mission Playhouse opens its doors for public tours sponsored by the City of San Gabriel. A guide will provide an overview of the venue’s history, restoration process and current activities and programs. The tour will include the background of the architecture, and design elements that grace the interior and exterior as well as a demonstration of the world renowned Wurlitzer Pipe Organ. This will be a walking tour that includes climbing stairs. Each tour will require a minimum of 5 people. For reservations, call 626-308-2865, ext. 228. This tour is subject to staff schedule and availability of the Playhouse.
